Peter Rabbit's Easter Egg Hunt

Easter is the time of renewal at the farm with new ideas and plants for the garden. From prehistoric times, man has hunted bird eggs for sustenance after long winters. Birds hid their eggs in secret places like green briars, ledges and brush. In Christianity, the egg is the symbol of rebirth and fertility. Every year, we offer an Easter egg hunt through our woodland trails, perhaps an instinctual link to our predecessors' hunt for survival. Make your reservations early as this fills up quickly. 	At the end of the hunt, the children gather to examine their goodies. Peter and his helpers hand out special items to those who found prize eggs. Everyone had a great time!
